Chicago Stuffed Pizza Sauce
Description
A variation on Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, this features a second crust layer on top of the pie. The top crust is topped with warm sauce and sprinkled with grated Parmigiano Reggiano before serving.
Makes 13 1⁄2 cups of sauce.
Ingredients
| 1 can 7/11® Ground Tomatoes |
| 4 teaspoons Corto® Extra Virgin Olive Oil |
| 7 teaspoons fresh oregano, chopped finely |
| 3 1⁄2 teaspoons fresh basil, chopped finely |
| 2 teaspoons salt |
| 14 cloves of garlic, minced |
