“Napoletana” Pizza Sauce

Description

In Naples, thin, round pizzas are made with fine soft wheat flour and baked in a wood-fired oven. After baking, Neapolitan pizzas are topped with fresh basil and a drizzle of fresh olive oil.

Makes 12 1⁄2 cups of sauce.

Ingredients

1 can Alta Cucina® Plum Tomatoes
1 teaspoon crushed salt (or to taste)

Crush Alta Cucina® in a hand mill.

Transfer to a stainless steel bowl and add salt to taste.
